I’ve been having a lot of fun with my Small Victories book. As I’m knee deep in an endometriosis flare up due to new medication, I find my attention span to be super short and so these small vignettes are absolutely perfect!

Practicing shading on rounded flowers, as well as making a soft gradient background.

Colored with Koi brush pens, Black widow pencils, Derwent coloursoft pencils, gelly roll white 05 and 10

Gilding in a flower vignette
I was practicing gilding. I found that gold gelly roll isn’t super suitable for this effect, it is too blotchy – I cannot create clean enough lines.
