This originally started as a salvage mission: the page had gotten damaged by some washi tape in the top and bottom left corner, but then became something more!
It was a playground to familiarize myself further with neocolor II’s to make my first splatter background with acrylic paint and to test out my new Chromaflow coloring pencils and I absolutely love how it turned out in the end! Both pages now feel like a cohesive spread because they’re each other’s opposites in color- it’s quite harmonious.
Tools used:
- Background: Neocolor II, Amsterdam metallic acrylic paint
- Basing: Koi brush pens and Zig brushables
- Colored pencils: Derwent Chromaflow
- Other media: Posca paint pen in ivory, Artistro paint pen in gold, Bronze and Gold Gelly roll
Art: Halloween by Hanna Karlzon
