I’ve been having a lot of fun with my Small Victories book. As I’m knee deep in an endometriosis flare up due to new medication, I find my attention span to be super short and so these small vignettes are absolutely perfect!
I based this with my Staedtler tinted and I love how the Derwent Drawing pencils layered over top. The exact right amount of texture from the pencil & tooth of the page is still showing, keeping this picture from looking flat. And honestly? Although I really went to TOWN with my paint pen dots- I’m absolutely not mad at it!
Materials used:
- Background: Sakura pigma brushpen with Ivory Black from Derwent Drawing layered over top. Tooli-art paint pens for embellishments
- Basing: Staedtler tinted watercolor pencils
- Pencil work: Derwent Drawing for the most part, with some Chromaflow added
- Further embellishments: Tooli-art fine point paint pens
